2022 Gnome

The 2022 vintage was marked by a warm growing season and an extraordinary, record-breaking heat wave in late August. Fortunately, Coombsville's cooler microclimate allowed the fruit to weather the heat and continue ripening steadily into September. Aromas of blooming rosemary, crushed rock, and vibrant red fruit rise from the glass. On the palate, the wine is firm yet refined, with bold tannins offering just the right amount of grip — providing structure while letting the fruit shine through. A grounded, powerful expression of Coombsville Cabernet.

2020 Gnome

The 2020 growing season in Napa Valley was warm and dry, leading to an early harvest and concentrated fruit expression. In the glass, this Cabernet opens with elegant aromatics of lavender, Bing cherry, and a hint of cigar box. 2019 Gnome

The 2019 vintage is elegant and complex. The best qualities of Napa are married to the spirit of Bordeaux in this 4x award winning masterpiece. Meant to be aged, this wine has all of the backbone of a polished cabernet melded with vibrant fruit and refined acidity. Dark fruit notes including blackcurrant, blackberry, and cassis meld with cedar and mushroom at the mid-palate. Velvety tannins and bakers' chocolate characterize an extended finish. Wonderful complexity now that will only grow with patience — an ideal collector's wine. Coombsville is known for its cooler days and longer growing seasons, resulting in the layered and complex flavors present here.

This Pinot Noir blends the elegance of Clone 667 with the depth of the Pommard clone, showing vibrant notes of raspberry, cherry, and cranberry layered with darker plum, black cherry, and blackberry.
